Jewelry classes of all levels are offered and have a main focus material of Art Clay Silver (ACS). All classes are
taught by ACS senior certified instructor Cindy Gard-Koizumi and are scheduled for most Saturday afternoons
(weekday classes now available) at her private studio at Glen Ellyn / Lombard, Illinois. Occasionally workshops are
scheduled out of town and will be announced as such. If you are interested in taking a class on a day not listed on
the class schedule, please contact us, we would be happy to arrange something.
ACS begins as a moldable clay which you will shape and refine. When it is fired (during class) the clay particles will
burn away and the silver will fuse your creation into a solid pure silver piece. Most of the work is done while the
product is in its’ clay form, making it easier then traditional metal work! ACS is made of recycled silver, organic
binder (clay) and water and is AP certified non-toxic.

information through design, creation and completion.
BasicPlus (Some experience recommended.) – Students will learn a slightly
more in-depth process then was learned in the Basic class. This class is meant
for the student who knows basic product information and who has used the
material or has taken the Basic class and is looking for instruction beyond
making a flat pendant.
Specialty1 (Some experience necessary.) – Students will learn a very specific
process such as using ACS with other materials or a special technique which
requires more time and experience.
Specialty2 (A good deal of experience necessary.) – As in Specialty1, Students
will learn a very specific process such as using ACS with other materials or a
special technique which requires more time and experience. The difference is
this class requires much more experience.
LevelOneCertification (No experience necessary; however, one Basic class or
use of product is recommended.) – Students will learn all product information
and an in-depth understanding and use of the product. Nine projects covering a
wide range of techniques will be completed during this three day course. After
successfully completing this course student will become certified to teach basic
ACS classes and receive a 35% discount on ACSilver products.
