Yosuke Koizumi is a talented potter who you may have seen in any number of trade
shows in the ceramics industry. Some of these shows include: NCECA, NAEA, Cambridge
Pottery Festival, and 1001 Pots.
Yosuke became a potter "by accident" during his college years at Tulane University where
he began as a business major and finished with a degree in ceramics. During this time he

After college Yosuke worked as an assistant to the ceramics professor at Tulane University
and continued making and selling his work in a number of New Orleans galleries for a few
years before returning to his home country of Japan. In one of the oldest pottery villages of
Japan (Shigaraki) Yosuke studied ancient Japanese pottery and honed his skills working
as a production potter where he was required to make hundreds of identical pots a day.

Pottery Studio), Director of Marketing & Wholesale Accounts (Art Clay World, USA), Inside Sales and Customer Service
